Here are a few pictures of some of my recent makes.
This pretty heart box was created using the Tattered Lace Essential Heart Box Die set. The card stock used was from the Victoria Nelson Step Into Spring kit. I then embellished the box with some flowers and a Spellbinders butterfly which I added glitter to and heat embossed. I also stamped a sentiment and attached a couple of mini wooden pegs to it. I attached some ribbon to the edge of the box and then to finish, I added a few mini roses to the inside of the box.
This next card was made by scoring, cutting and turning a piece of card into a K card. Using papers from a Tattered Lace Designers Directory USB, I then mat and layered onto the card blank. I cut a Tattered Lace 'Dance Like nobody is watching' die and added a drop shadow to the back of it. Using a butterfly die from the Tattered Lace Tuck In range, I cut out and tucked in some butterflies and used the waste to embellish the card with several single butterflies. To complete the card, I added some flowers and pearl chain and flower flourishes for the inside of the card. I added a ribbon to the front of the card and finished with some glitter and sparkle pens.
This wall hanger was made using Tattered Lace dies (see previous blog for details on what was used). I used neutral colours to make this hanger.
This last card was made for my daughter for her siblings to give her on her 10th birthday. She is very much a tom boy and this card was perfect for her. Using a 6 by 6" card blank, I inked up the edges using pink, blues and puples. I mat and layered using black and rainbow card stock. I cut out a Tattered Lace floral skull in pink satin card and using pinflair glue and attached it carefully to the card to give it some lift. I stamped some little butterflies onto the card using a stamp from the Victoria Nelson collection. I made some flowers using a couple of Tattered Lace delicate flower dies and then finished the card by stamping and adding a 'cool sister' sentiment.
That's it for now, I have lots of exciting things coming soon to keep me busy, bye for now.....
