Here's a notice board I made for the kitchen. I decorated the chipboard with my chosen papers. I then used a small piece of cork for the mini pin board at the top of the apron and attached a little flower to corner.
Using my distress inks, I distressed the edges of the kitchen utensils that came with this kit. I used my sparkle pens on the cupcakes and finished off with glossy accents.
For the little notebook, I trimmed down an unused notebook and covered the front with one of my papers. I attached some twine to the top of the pad and then stamped the word 'notes' onto the pad.
To complete this apron, I attached some hessian and ribbon to the middle part and left two straps loose at either side. I also attached some twine to the top of the apron to finish.
I made this apron with a gardening theme. It was made in the same way as the one above. Using the gardening accessories that came with the kit, I distressed the ends quite heavily in order to look like soil on the ends of the tools and vegetables.
I used plenty of glossy accents on the gardening items.
Using my stamps, I stamped the word 'garden' onto the window box which was included in the kit.
This apron is my favourite and has pride of place in my craft room!
I added glossy accents to the cute little scissors included in the kit as well as to the little sewing machine. I used some of my pins from my sewing kit and added them to the pocket. I found a couple of little wooden hearts in my crafty stash and added them to the corner.
Using the little cotton reels from the kit, I added some of my own sparkly thread to them and attached them to the pocket of the apron. I found an old tape measure which I trimmed down and added to my project.
That's it for now, hope you all have a good week and do join me again for some more crafting madness soon.
