Easter Celebrations!

Hi all,

A very happy Easter to you. Whatever you choose to celebrate, hope you are enjoying your weekend and are not too tired from losing out on an hour of your day. The kids have been watching the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on a continual loop, not sure if I can take listening to the singing for much longer lol!

As a crafter, I am inspired by lots of different styles of cards and creations that other people make. I also take inspiration from my surroundings. As Spring has now arrived, I felt inspired to make a colourful, cheerful Spring card.

For this project, I made an easel card. I used a Tattered lace frame to mat and layer my topper and finished off with a Tattered lace birdcage tapestry die cut which I placed on the top. I then attached a ribbon and some lace to the side and made a matching bow.

Using a Tattered lace heart tapestry die, I snipped out the word Love to use as an embellishment in the corner of my topper. I used my sparkle pens on the birdcage and the Love sentiment and then added some glossy accents to the two love birds.

Next, I printed out my chosen lily paper and then die cut a lily out using the Tattered lace floral layers die and CD rom set.

Finally, I made a stopper for my easel card using a scallop edge die and then cut some small Tattered lace flourishes to finish off the card.

Hope you all enjoy the week again and for now happy crafting!
