Hi everyone, hope you are all well and that you have had a good week. I have made another pop-up flower bouquet card and as promised, here is the tutorial.
You will need:
A4 piece of good quality card stock
Tattered Lace floral layer collection
Die cutting machine
Scoring tool
Acetate
Adhesive
First take your A4 card stock (lay it down landscape) and score lines at 7.5cm intervals. At one of the ends, score an additional line at just 0.5cm from the edge. Now turn your card (portrait) and score just one line at 8cm. Burnish creases (landscape creases towards you, portrait crease fold away from you).
Next, cut along your five creases, up to the portrait crease (at 8cm) then stop. Snip away the 0.5cm piece at the end which should leave you with a 0.5cm flap for the bottom part of the card. Now join your card together and stick down the side flap which will form the basis of your card.
Using your floral layers CD, select your colour choice and print off chosen images. Next, attach your matching dies to your images and run them individually through your die cutting machine. Cut out several flower and leaf pieces as required, these will eventually form your bouquet.
Emboss and curl your petals and leaves and then start assembling your flowers together, not forgetting to attach the middle parts to your flowers as well.
Once you have enough flowers, you will need to cut out pieces of acetate or clear plastic about a cm thick and cut them to your chosen length. Next, you will need to cut out two strips of card which will go inside the base of your card . The acetate pieces will then be able to attach to these pieces of cards which will give the impression that the flowers have been placed in a vase.
For the strips of card, you will need to cut out two strips of card, 4" in length and 0.5" wide. Score 0.5" from the end at both ends and fold to form a Z shape. Attach these two strips to the inside of the card.
Finally, attach your flowers individually to your acetate strips and then attach them individually to your Z strips to form your bouquet. I also cut out some Tattered Lace dreamy words sentiments , added then individually to acetate and then spaced them out throughout the bouquet as shown in photo.
To complete the project, I made a tag using Kraft card, lace, twine and stamped a sentiment using a Dreamees stamp.
Using the basic card shape above, you can decorate it anyway you like, the card will fold down flatter in order to put it in a box envelope.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorials, any questions then please do ask,
Bye for now and happy crafting!
